The virtual consultation
Your first step will be to decide if you would like to meet with Dr. Duplechain in person at our office or via our secure online platforms, Go to Meetings and TouchMD. If you choose a virtual consultation, we will ask that you fill out “paperwork” in your patient portal and upload photos of yourself into TouchMD, a HIPAA-compliant app, before your appointment time. Dr. Duplechain will use these photos during the consultation to discuss your options and make procedure recommendations. (Uploading photos ahead of time also allows you to remain dressed and wear your makeup in your consultation.)
To join the virtual consultation, you will click a Go to Meeting link that we email directly to you. Just as with in-person consultations, this meeting will be equal parts interview, learning experience, and time to see the possibilities of what cosmetic surgery can achieve for you. Dr. Duplechain will share his screen with you, which allows him to show you before and after photos of other patients, videos, and his mark-up of your own photos during your conversation. Dr. Duplechain can show you exactly where your incision will be, just as he would in-person. We save these marked-up photos so that you can refer back to them as you make your decision about cosmetic surgery.
Receive your fee quote & discuss with our staff
Once you and Dr. Duplechain have decided on a treatment plan, our staff will email you a comprehensive fee quote for the procedure(s) you discussed. They will also call you to review the costs, and answer any questions you may have (i.e. about financing options or scheduling a surgery date).
The post-operative experience
We are here for you every step of the way! While recovery times vary based on the patient and the procedure, you can expect a post-operative visit with Dr. Duplechain, as well as detailed post-op instruction for a healthy, safe recovery. As always, our team is here for you continuously to answer any questions or concerns that come up.

We offer the option of utilizing our VIP overnight facility at Lafayette Surgical Specialty Hospital (LSSH), right next door to Dr. Duplechain’s office.
