PRE-OP
PROCESS
Although you will receive specific and detailed instructions
by the doctor during your consultation and before coming in
for your cosmetic surgery procedure, the following are some
good general rules to follow and expect:
- Patients should not eat past midnight the night before
they are undergoing a procedure.
- Patients are asked to arrive on time. When a procedure
is scheduled, the patient will receive a time that they
should arrive by.
- Patients are asked to wear comfortable clothing that buttons
up the front.
- Patients are asked to refrain from wearing make-up and
jewelry to their procedure.
- Patients are asked to continue on schedule with any medications
they currently take, but to bring them to the surgery procedure
as well. All prescribed medications should be mentioned
at the time the procedure is scheduled.
- Patients are required to provide the name of their designated
driver before entering into surgery, although it is not
necessary for the designated driver to be present during
the procedure.
