For your chin or cheek implants, I will create an incision and place silicone implants in the specified area. For chin implants, the incision is created under the chin, so that the incision will remain inconspicuous. Cheek implants are typically performed through an intraoral incision so that no visible incision ever exists. Many of my patients elect to have liposuction of the neck or chin combined with their implants for a more sculpted and improved appearance.
Recovery & Results
Recovery from a chin and cheek implant usually only takes about 4 to 7 days, depending on whether or not you combined the procedure with another facial procedure. Swelling and redness will subside within a few weeks, and you can enjoy your new and improved facial appearance.
